This is MY Dream Creative (BUDGET FRIENDLY) Work From Home Setup

I'm sick of seeing articles from this place called Creative Bloq pushing outrageously overpriced shit for Jeff Bezos' ScAmazon so I'm taking a go at a budget tech article. No, I'm no tech expert. I have some creative graphic design experience from way back in the day and most of you won't be old enough to remember PageMaker, so that's how outdated some of my knowledge is but I hit up my research assistant, DuckDuckGo Search Assist, Temu, and PC Mag online for some help. If you order anything from any of the links I may make a small commission but you'll get great welcome specials for setting up a new Temu account and placing an order within 24 hours. Bonus. Plus, fuck ScAmazon and Jeff Bezos. Bonus Bonus.
You'll also hopefully get some ideas for options even if you choose not to use a single one of my links or Temu. It's really more about helping you save money than it is about me making a buck off pushing Temu's stuff. Seriously. I don't wanna get rich. Rich people suck. Wouldn't mind being to buy a few things I need from Temu from some commission money either, keeping it real. Holla! See Also: Amazon is a Shamazon!
Creative Bloq says you need a MacBook Pro (M5) for $1,849 from Amazon US. Sanity and I say bump that. DuckDuckGo (DDG) Search Assist says, consider the ASUS ProArt P16, which is designed for creative professionals and offers strong performance with its RTX 5070 graphics. I looked for those on Temu and they're outrageously expensive even there, so I like their second choice better. They say another option is the Dell XPS series, known for its quality and performance, making it a solid alternative to the MacBook Pro.
Their information was auto-generated based on information from, get this, Creative Bloq. DDG always gives the disclaimer that it may contain inaccuracies so don't take it or me as gospel on anything. Do your own research. Especially before shelling out considerable sums of money for anything.
But, a great start on your own research would be taking a look at this great deal on what PC Mag offers as a much more budget friendly alternative to Creative Bloq's original suggestion. According to PC Mag, the best MacBook Pro alternative for creating and gaming is the Asus ROG Strix Scar 16 (G635LW) which I found for you on Temu. Even PC Mag was pushing an option from ScAmazon at $3,199.99. Wow. Check Temu's price for the SAME THING as far as I can tell. $1,323.87.

The seller is rated by actual customers as the #6 Best Selling Local Warehouse Store in Video Games with 1.1K sold. Check out the ASUS ROG Strix G16 on Temu. From what I understand "Local Warehouse" just means it ships from within the United States. Not that it originated here, just that the one you order will ship from within the US, saving you all that Trump temper tantrum tariff fuckery.
That takes care of your workhorse. The next thing Creative Bloq says you simply must have is an outrageously priced Herman Miller Embody gaming/office chair for $1,596 at Design Within Reach (wow, funny name. In reach for who? Elon Musk?) or $1,849 View at Amazon. I think we can do better. Oh, look, we did!
Supposedly the great thing about this overpriced chair is that it features a Pixelated Support system with support for micro-movements in your body to minimize pressure on your spine and promote blood circulation. That sounds like a bunch of horse shit to me and I found a ton of affordable options when I typed "pixelated support gaming chair" into the search bar on Temu like the one shown below. It's not even the cheapest. It's just the one that looks like the best overall value to me and like one I would personally want.

Moving right along... Creative Bloq says you need... a $2,600 Herman Miller sit-to-stand desk. I'm thinking I could buy about a year's worth of groceries for that price so fuck that shit. Temu has a ton of options for these, too and they look better to me than the ugly Herman Miller for way, way less money. Like regular people money with strikingly similar features to the Herman Miller piece. Like the one below which is available in four different colors.

Creative Bloq just kept going on and on with stuff you just gotta waste a bunch of money on like monitor stands, an iPad, the "perfect" speakers and headphones, and blah blah blah. Not gonna lie, I got bored so I'm not doing all that. Long story short, set up your dream work from home creative space for YOU and according to your realistic budget. Thanks for reading! Please share and let me know what you think in the comments.
Why you keep pushing Temu? I hate Jeff Bezos. And I use them a lot and have been thrilled with almost everything I've gotten with the rare exception of some shit I knew was priced way too low to be any good. That was on me. Plus, I'm more careful about reading specs and reviews now before I order anything. My goodness, I grew up a little!
