Easy Espresso Martini, Hold the Alcohol

ree

The "real thing" sounds good to me, but so does this. For those who can't or shouldn't have alcohol, there's no reason not to enjoy this trendy and delightful concoction.

To make a non-alcoholic espresso martini, combine 50ml (1.69 ounces) of freshly brewed espresso, 50ml (1.69 ounces) of heavy whipping cream, and 25ml (.85 ounces) of vanilla syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well, strain into a chilled martini glass, and optionally dust with cocoa powder or garnish with coffee beans. Yum!

Check out the sugar free vanilla syrup option below to make it more diabetic friendly.

I saw someone else somewhere online recommending using sweetened condensed milk instead of the vanilla syrup. They said it made it richer and added the same sweetness, more body. Sounds kind gross to me, but to each their own.

I am really thinking of trying this with that really bold Kirkland brand canned iced coffee from Costco I love so much and the sugar free vanilla syrup. I can't wait! I don't make any kind of commission from Costco, but I'm gonna link that coffee below just because I love it so much and think everybody should try it. Plus, Costco rocks.

There are lots of other great flavors in the ChocZero sugar free syrups too like salted caramel that would be awesome for variations on the standard espresso martini.
