As usual, we and the media are completely and utterly missing the point. While we're focused on "he's hot," "is he or is he not a folk hero?" "are the folks who refuse to be mad at him evil?" I have not yet seen the first correlation between the Luigi Mangion shooting of CEO Brian Thompson and the proposed Trump regime/Elon Musk/evil GOP cuts to or complete gutting of Medicare and the Affordable Care Act, AKA Obamacare. Once again, claim DENIED, point completely MISSED.
One of the biggest evils of the current medical insurance get rich quick scheme for the already wealthy is the callous, inhumane, barbaric denials of coverage for anything and everything they can. And now we're teetering on the edge of losing protections allowing for coverage of preexisting conditions. How and why is this not being screamed from the mountaintops?
Preexisting conditions, by the way, don't even exist outside of the United States, where every other civilized country already has universal healthcare, but that's another story for another day. Right now that means anything that has ever been wrong with you in the past and can even be stretched by unscrupulous health insurance oligarchs to include things you are risk for developing based on family history of other criteria. In other words, without the ACA/Obamacare protections, we will be covered for exactly shit nothing.
You think we're fucked now? We're about to be dying in the streets homeless in agony and pain because, mainly, most people just couldn't be bothered to get off the fucking couch and VOTE.
And then, also another story for another time, you have rich fucks like Mark Cuban, who people insist in believing are on the side of the average American citizen, touting the benefits of privatization, or rather shoving them down our gullible throats. Privatization of Medicare is not the fucking answer by any stretch of the imagination. The universal healthcare that the US has deserved for so long is. It's not rocket science, Elon. Privatization will only make some more rich fucks richer and more poor folks poorer and sicker.
Where are my facts, figures, data? I'm not Google. I'm not your mama. Do your research. Your fucking lives are at stake. These are my opinions based on my eyes and ears being open and my old, disabled ass terrified of losing my Medicare, protections of the ACA/Obamacare and so much more. It's long past time to wake the fuck up and learn something. It's also long past time to be calling, writing, emailing your elected "representatives" and demanding they protect us. Not give us lip service, not kiss Elon Trump's ass, not go on Fox Not News for attention whore clickbait bullshit glory and fame. DO SOMETHING.
