Our democracy is broken. Our politicians are controlled by the extremes in both parties. Gerrymandering has made primaries the only elections that matter - and those elections are decided with low turnout by mostly partisan voters, resulting in policies that cater to extremes and special interests. That only changes with much higher voter turnout and that only happens by meeting voters where they already are — on their phones.
