Those with no natural human intelligence are leaning increasingly on the crutch of AI, including by no surprise the Trump administration which is using it in all the most wrong of possible wrong ways. This should send up flaming red flags on a variety of levels. Not only is it a clear indication that the incompetent so called president who is nothing more than a self appointed dictator has surrounded himself by grossly incompetent ass kissers willing to die to protect their beloved pedophile madman cult leader, it just represents the brain rot that's killing America and leading to things like the installation of a criminal regime in the first place.
Rather than doing their own research and developing their own informed opinions about important issues, too many people are now content to simply ask Chat GPT or their favorite AI "servant" what they should think, believe and feel and just run with it. And that's fucking us. Because machines will never think, feel or believe. Anything. They are incapable. No matter how far advanced they may become in the future, no matter what anybody says. Thinking, feeling and believing are innately human things unable to be replicated by tools. They're being approximated and even mocked in increasingly convincingly realistic ways, but it ain't real.
The Trump administration, unethical enough to rely on any trick they can pull out of its bag of dirty tricks to get what it wants, has been all too eager to exploit AI to its advantage. Throw the garbage out and the people, the media, and especially their base who they already knew was gullible as fuck, eat it up with a spoon.
What Donald Trump, egomaniac in chief, doesn't realize is he is now a sock puppet of the tech bros who installed him for their amusement and personal profit. They don't even need him anymore. Behind and in control of AI, they can just take what they want and use it however they see fit, partly even with the buffoon's blessing. He recently allowed an AI rendition of his voice to speak for him in a Fannie Mae ad with his blessing. He got paid and didn't even have to show up for the gig. Right up his alley. See details from Los Angeles Times. What's to stop his tech bro handlers from scripting whatever bullshit they want and having virtual Trump speak for them? They basically do already. How many of his speeches, statements and appearances have already been full AI productions? Pure fantasy? We'll never know.
Besides propping up the mentally declining Trump and continuing to use his as the cheap plastic toy in the national Unhappy Meal that is this fucking farce of an administration, the Trump Regime is using AI to discredit and defame anyone they see as a threat to their illegitimate power like when they recently posted an AI manipulated photo of Nekima Levy Armstrong, a Minnesota civil rights attorney who was arrested after protesting in a church where a pastor is allegedly an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operative.
Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem posted what may be the original photo of Armstrong being led away by an officer. A half hour later, the official White House X account posted an AI altered version in which Armstrong’s face was made to look like she was crying.
“The White House shared an AI-edited photo of Nekima, depicting her in tears and scared when, in actuality, she was poised, determined, and unafraid,” NAACP President and CEO Derrick Johnson said, quote in this article from ars TECHNICA.
That same article also quoted Jordan Kushner, an attorney for Levy Armstrong, as saying, “It is just so outrageous that the White House would make up stories about someone to try and discredit them. She was completely calm and composed and rational. There was no one crying. So this is just outrageous defamation.” Hopefully that's a hint at a planned defamation lawsuit, which the administration richly deserves.
So, they can and will manufacture "evidence" against anyone they choose. That we should trust nothing we see or hear coming from this administration should be abundantly clear by now. AI manipulated images and other content are becoming so realistic and hard to tell from authentic that AI itself often can't tell which is which. How can we be expected to? We can't. That's the point. This is abuse of a fledgling technology with a whole plethora of potential unseen consequences and dangerous territory for our nation and the world to be goose stepping into.
Speaking of goose stepping, it's no secret that Elon Musk's Grok is a lover of Nazi propaganda and ideology, "proudly" spouting it all over X for the world to see and lap up eagerly. How much of that is from input by Elon and his neo-Nazi tech bro buddies? All I'm saying is we are on a very slippery slope with an administration so dumb it has to rely on artificial intelligence to appear to have any actual intelligence at all and we're pretty well fucked.
I wish I had some solutions or sensible resistance plans to offer, but this is way over my tech head and apparently something nobody was prepared to deal with judging from lack of any real push back. I guess the real lesson and only possible approach is we need to get back to basics and question everything, do our research and our own critical thinking. That would probably have kept us from winding up fucked with Hitler 2.0 back in the Oval in the first place. Idiot Americans flooded Google with searches for "what are tariffs" the day AFTER the so called election. After. Not before, when they should have been doing actual research on what in the fuck they were actually voting for. They ran to Google after the damage was done and then relied on what was probably and AI summary of shit they should have already researched for themselves. Wow. Don't take my word for this.
