Coffman & Watson Mysteries: Welcome to Pembroke Manor
A locked room. A century of secrets. And a household you may become far too fond of.

Welcome to Pembroke Manor, an original illustrated mystery from Coffman & Watson. Explore a lavish English manor, examine the evidence, and witness echoes of 1926 as you investigate a death whose consequences have lingered for a hundred years.
Expect Gothic atmosphere, queer wit, household intrigue, puzzles, and people with rather more going on than their portraits suggest. The clues matter. So do the people.
A mystery you can take your time with
Read the conversations, explore the rooms, compare your discoveries, and build your account of what happened. Hints and puzzle skips help you keep moving, while saves can preserve your place even in the middle of a long conversation.
The full mystery has reached its first playable draft and is being tested. It is still in development; a release date and price have not been announced. This page will be our place to share more as the game takes shape.
Meanwhile, make yourself at home
We made a little decorating diversion, and it turned out to be far too lovely to keep to ourselves.
A Little Room of Your Own lets you arrange a lavish manor sitting room with burgundy and gold armchairs, a couch, a chaise, two dressed tables, and three paintings for the fireplace. Put things where they please you. Move them again. Develop an unreasonable attachment to the chaise.
It is free to play in your browser, with no account required. There is no score or timer. You can download your arrangement and return to it later. It shares the look and atmosphere of Pembroke Manor without revealing the mystery’s solution.
The decorating room is a small companion activity, not a demo of the investigation. For the best view, open it at full size using the button above.
Enjoy your visit. If something misbehaves, leave a comment here telling us what happened and which device or browser you used. Useful feedback is very welcome.
