In the wake of today's news about the latest mass shooting in <insert name of American city or town> I ran across an inspiring article about how one man made a meaningful difference in the battle against gun violence in America. It even happened in gun-nut Lauren Boebert's home state of Colorado.
It's no secret that it is far past time to start firing back against the gun nuts. Not with bullets, but with activism. Sane, rational people must start finding ways to make our voices heard and begin the steps toward meaningful gun safety legislation nationwide.
We don't all have the influence or resources the man in this article has, but we have voices. We have options in who we vote for. We can post on social media, write letters and emails to our elected officials demanding action. We can even peacefully demonstrate or support the cause for gun safety in a myriad ways.
