Kevin McCarthy and the Q-nuts holding the debt ceiling and the nation's economy hostage is nothing more than a ploy to help their orange god, Trump, get re-elected. Fat chance of that, but that's what I thought the first time, too. People are dumber than I realized.
The entire goal is to force a default, tank the national and international economies, then blame it on Biden. The same people who believed President Biden personally went around and set the prices on their gas higher at every single fucking gas station in the country will say, "Oh, my Gawd! Biden is fucking the economy," and vote for some republican jackass who will REALLY fuck the economy.
Use those facts, folks. Share the articles pointing out that this debt ceiling bullshit is just another republican scam. Try to educate at least a few who might not be beyond hope.
