Hobby Lobby and other conservative cult groups wasted $14 million on Super Bowl ads to "rebrand" Jesus as someone who "gets" their hatred and bigotry. So much for helping the needy or anything like that, which is probably what their fictional son of God would have done with the money.
Instead of inviting the wayward youth and misguided folks like me to the loving arms of Christ, it pretty much just turned us off even more on the whole idea of religion, and giant corporations as religious organizations. And religious organizations as giant corporations, for that matter.
