The Face of American Evil

New Orleans Terror Suspect 42 year old Shamsud-Din Jabbar
New Orleans Terror Suspect 42 year old Shamsud-Din Jabbar

Domestic terrorism is not new to our country, from political assassinations to mass shootings, we here in the United States have been socially conditioned to extreme violence. Not since 2001 have we had attacks that were credibly linked to outside influence. But with the wake of this American former soldier, a black man who has a name that could have made him seem like an immigrant, we will see waves of anti-Muslim sentiment wash across our nation.

I won't lie, after November 5th, my thoughts on some Muslim factions have drastically become resentment filled or even ire base. I am no fan of religious fanatism in any branch, Fundies as I call them run in all religious circles. And they are all extremely dangerous. But as our media buzzes about this man's ties to Hamas, a known cult of literal terrorism under the guise of Muslim beliefs, I feel a sense of impending dread. When we develop a "common enemy" such as we did when my hometown was attacked both in 1993 and 2001, we breed a path to war.

It doesn't surprise me, given who will be inaugurated in a few days that things like this are already brewing. War is a profitable cause, and the deaths of innocent people considered "collateral damage." What I want to heavily remind folks, is that Mr. Jabbar who is now dead after being shot by police, was not an immigrant. He was born and raised here, trained by our military. And may not be alone in his desire to fan the flames of dissent. The face of evil is not the hard-working immigrant families who want to make a better live for themselves and their children. It is not the men and women who come over here leaving their families behind to receive a chance at helping their loved ones back home. It is often selfish entitled people with access to weapons and money via groups who only want to see our world in constant conflict and chaos.

And on New Years we see that a lot of our violent issues won't come from outside influence. We have our own home-grown terrorists to worry about.

Do you not spell check, or edit? Does this platform allow anyone to publish anything?

"I won't lie, after November 5th, my thoughts on some Muslim factions have drastically become resentment filled or even ire base." Not a word about the Christo-facists who have voted in lockstep for decades? Your bigotry is showing.

I won't quote it as fact, but someone on Bluesky said both he and the suspect in the Cybertruck explosion outside Trump's Vegas hotel were both military, served together perhaps and that both vehicles were rented from the same company. That reinforces my strong suspicion that this is all tied to Musk and Trump as some sort of diversion or even to stoke more violence, hatred and fear. Possibly laying the groundwork to justify a declaration of Martial Law.

That sounds very plausible, and given they can try to use his name as a way to confuse people into thinking it was immigrants makes it seem very likely this was set up.
