Bloody Revolution May Be Our ONLY Option

There's no easy way to say it, but a bloody revolution may well be our only option to take back our country from the authoritarian regime we failed to prevent from rising to power. Leader of the pro-Trump Project 2025 suggested well before the sham election there will be a new American Revolution. Kevin Roberts said the revolution will be bloodless "if the left allows it to be." In other words, if we surrender without a fight there will not be bloodshed. Fuck that shit. We damn well better stand up FAST and show them we will not just lay down like dogs to be slaughtered in Kristi Noem's gravel pit.

Project 2025 is described as a conservative plan that aims to reshape the U.S. government and has been referred to by its proponents as a "second American Revolution," which they claim will be "bloodless" if the opposition allows it. Critics argue that it seeks to consolidate authoritarian power in the presidency and undermine democratic checks and balances. No shit, Sherlock.

My summary is that people are acting shocked about the mad flurry of firings and slashing and burning but the first signs of Trump’s plan to dismantle the government actually emerged during the end of his first term, when the Office of Management and Budget tried to use—but ran out of time to implement—his “Schedule F” executive order to strip employment protections from tens of thousands of government workers.

That move, back in 2020, was partly the work of Russell Vought, who is once again leading the OMB. In the four years that Trump was out of power, Vought was busy establishing the framework for the current attacks on the federal agencies and laying out plans for more kinglike powers for the president. Basically, Project 2025 which we were warned about and which was available online for any and all to read for nearly a damn year.

As the self described Christian National said in a 2024 speech reported on by ProPublica, Vought wanted the assault on civil servants to not just be dramatic but ruthless. “We want the bureaucrats to be traumatically affected,” he said. “When they wake up in the morning, we want them to not want to go to work because they are increasingly viewed as the villains. … We want to put them in trauma.”

This was not just talk. That was not just an idle threat with intent to carry it out. Vought is a major power player in the MAGA policy world: He wrote Project 2025’s playbook for the administration’s first 180 days, drafted executive orders for the president to sign, and served as the policy director of the Republican National Committee’s official platform committee for 2024. He's running the show as much as if not more than Elon Musk.

Basically these crazy ass Christian Nationalists think our rights come from God, but their twisted version of what God wants and doesn't want. Basically it's power for rich, white, faux Christian straight men. Fuck everybody else. We'll be their slaves.

And we're heading there at warp seed if we don't stand the fuck up and fight. Bloody? It's probably going to have to be.
